Information Assurance

What will this Position will Offer You?

You will be responsible for obtaining, managing, reviewing Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of DoD systems, networks and sites. Managing and leading efforts in the preparation, review, application and maintenance of Information Assurance Policies and Procedures. Preparation, review and management of certification plans and accreditation documents. Performing security analyses and risk/vulnerability assessments. Conducting security tests and evaluations. Coordination of C&A activities and teams. Evaluation of information assurance technologies for application to the projects and systems.

Thorough knowledge of Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), certification and accreditation roles, responsibilities and methodologies. Demonstrable knowledge of security technologies and their application (e.g. operating system features, guards and firewalls, security tools, etc.) Experience in performing or participating in security testing and evaluations (certification testing). Demonstrable understanding of end user security processes, procedures and roles (e.g. Information System Security Manager/Information Assurance Security Officer, etc.)

Position Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering principle preferred

* 5 years experience

* Security+, CISSP, other Information Assurance commercial certification a plus

* Willing/able to obtain commercial certification

Security Requirements: Secret Interim/Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
