ManTech Technical Services Group established itself as an industry leader in worldwide technology support providing support to the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Air Force as well as other key Department of Defense customers and we would like to consider YOU as part of our team.

ManTech Technical Services Group is currently seeking a seasoned Business Developer with relationships within the domestic and/or international government markets, specifically in the areas of Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Army Materiel Command (AMC), Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), USA Security Assistance Command, Army Research and Development Command, and Redstone Test Center (RTC), and other Huntsville-centric organizations.

The successful candidate must have the ability to leverage their existing relationships within ManTech’s market space, build key partnerships & alliances, and establish and grow new relationships for continued success within the Business Unit. Key skills for this position require strong strategic planning abilities, and an unrelenting focus on winning new business. Must be able to demonstrate a track record of developing and assessing new business, leading to concrete bookings and revenue, while developing a solid pipeline of opportunities for the future.

Additional experience will include interfacing with Senior Management and customers, and the ability to influence decisions towards desired outcomes. Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills, presentation and problem solving skills and the ability to gain support and establish working relationships with executive decision makers, managers, peers and staff are essential. Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and mentoring employees is essential.

Qualifications

* Twelve plus years of related experience working within the DoD and Federal community.

* Minimum of a BA degree is required, a MS degree is preferred additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.

* Must have strong communication skills written and verbal, must be comfortable presenting to senior executives and policy makers and large audiences, as well as engineers, scientists, and analysts.

* Must have strong interpersonal skills and the drive and determination to commit to prescribed BD growth

* An excellent knowledge of Huntsville / Tennessee Valley business community and Redstone Arsenal is important. A general knowledge of Defense-related business in the Southeastern USA is preferred.

Military and/or Government experience is essential.

* An active minimum of Secret clearance is required; a Top Secret security clearance is preferred.

Additional Qualifications Successful candidate will have completed a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
