Salary Range: $16.60 per hour

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Applying and removing vehicle immobilization devices, if authorized.
  • Entering correlating data into a revenue computer software program
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures
  • Reporting any known, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazard or any unusual occurrence or activity to their Supervisor or Manager
  • Monitoring and communicating via cellular phone and/or two-way radio with all required personnel
  • Having a general knowledge of nearby roadways and landmarks to the location.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements: The personnel selected for parking enforcement officer positions must have certain traits and abilities that enable them to achieve expected levels of performance. Some of the most important competencies are exercising sound independent judgment and maintaining a high level of customer service. Other areas include:

Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills: Ability to operate a personal computer and enter data, using a computer software program.

License Requirement: The employee will be required to have and maintain a valid state driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

Appearance: Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and listen. Employees are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including snow storms, and extreme heat.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to mount and dismount a vehicle immobilization device commonly referred to as a Denver-Boot
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 60 Pounds
  • Ability to use wireless audio devices to communicate
