TITLE: Lead QA Engineer Automation
LOCATION: Washington, D.C.


DUTIES: Leads all phases of QA process and the implementation of QA objectives and the monitoring and evaluation of requirement and test deliverables. Interacts with all members of the project team to assure successful development, testing, and implementation of project requirements to ensure that projects meet Amtrak's quality deployment goals. Works on projects of all levels of complexity within any of the IT development environments. Coordinates with the Development & Operations (DevOps) and Release Management Teams. Identifies and proposes areas of improvement throughout the QA process. Adheres to and enforces QA processes. Conducts investigations on identified technical and operational problems on installed networks, systems, and products. Establishes liaison relationships with business partners and IT departments to provide process solutions to meet user needs. Provides consistent communication, mentoring, and instruction to team members. Supports continued evolution of QA strategies and activities supporting best practices and quality deployments.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related field followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Lead QA Engineer Automation or any occupation related to Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers. Must also have at least five (5) years of experience: (1) Creating, maintaining, and updating BDD-TestNG /POM automation framework with extensive Java/JScoding knowledge; (2) Integrating Automation on frameworks with mobile based servers (Android/iOS) along with different automation reporting such as extent, Kibana, html; (3) Testing with tools such as JIRA, HPALM, Zyphyr, X-Ray, Java, JS, Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, Android and iOS devices; and (4) Supporting CICD pipeline integration with batch and scheduled job creation. Must also have four (4) years of experience (5) executing Web and Mobile testing with multi-browser/multi-threaded automation suites. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Remote work permitted in accordance with standard company policy. All positions require pre-employment background check verification and a pre-employment drug screen.

SALARY: $135,900 per year
