CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our Commercial & Institutional - Fire Protection Services Team at our office in Cullman, AL.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA offers highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions to address the most challenging fire risks. Our approach involves adapting strategies and solutions to meet the ever-changing demands of buildings and the environment, while promoting safety and efficiency.

The Fire Sprinkler Designer assists with the research, preparation, and creation of various types of contract or construction drawings and documents. The professional in this role will collaborate with design teams on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company expectations.

The Fire Sprinkler Designer will develop the ability to independently establish simple or routine contract drawings and will gain a working knowledge of discipline standards, codes, and systems through assisting with contract document preparation. The right candidate for this role will be eager to learn and problem-solve and should have working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or REVIT.

REQUIREMENTS
    High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
  • No experience required
  • Valid drivers' license required
  • Proficient with discipline-based software (AutoCAD, REVIT, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist senior staff
SALARY RANGE:

$56,000 - $69,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
