Job Description

Summary/objective

The On-Premise Sales Support is a key member of the On-Premise team responsible for providing relief coverage for route vacancies due to vacations, holidays, personal days, etc. This position is responsible for performing specific sales activities of assigned route - This includes but is not limited to sales, merchandising of products, rotation, sanitation, cleanliness and overall appearance of machines, vending area, and vehicle.

Essential Functions

  • Obtain On-Premise account sales orders.
  • Stock and merchandise all product.
  • Ensure all products are properly rotated.
  • Increase product sales within current accounts.
  • Monitor and recommend revenue opportunities through product and package mix.
  • Directly responsible for the communication of problems with route scheduling, account needs, maintenance, and safety issues, with appropriate management.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships.
  • Assist management in the execution of all supplier promotions and incentives. Emphasis placed on increasing overall departmental sales and profits.
  • Assist management within all areas of security to assure protection of company assets.
  • Adhere to customer policies for vendors or suppliers, which may include but is not limited to business conduct policies, business ethics policies, legal policies, and delivery and merchandising policies.
  • Be knowledgeable in all Department Metrics and Buffalo Rock Procedures
  • Responsible for sanitization, cleanliness, and the overall appearance of account/machines, markets, stockroom and vehicle.
  • Responsible for the collection of monies and basic repair of vending equipment.
  • Attendance of group meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
  • This position must follow all company and departmental standards and complete daily activities in a manner that will insure maximum efficiency, customer service, inventory control, and monetary accountability.
  • Must be clean and neat and adhere to all company uniform requirements.
  • Receive in and stock food in freezer and coolers.
  • Pull and pack out food trays for all routes.
  • Pull and pack out Micro Market orders.
  • Deliver and pick up special event trailers.
  • Pull drinks for fundraisers and donations.
  • Deliver fundraisers.
  • Prepare drinks to be shipped from internet sales.
  • Required to work special events off site.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
  • Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and/or facilitated training.
  • Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the Company from possible damages, theft, or other liabilities.
  • Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the safety of employee- partners, self, customers, Buffalo Rock property, and customer property.

Required education and experience

  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Preferred
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary
  • Certifications and Licenses:

-Must have a valid state driver's license, for state of residence, with a good driving record.

-Must be DOT Certifiable
