Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer- Crane Systems
Job Summary:
DeSHAZO Crane, a leading provider of crane solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Administrator to join our team. This pivotal role involves accurately entering critical business information from various documents, such as proposals, purchase orders, and estimates, into our ERP system (EPICOR). Job Duties:
  • Strong business mathematics such as credit, debit, percentages, fractions, and calculations are fundamental for an ERP administrator. Accurately interpreting, input, manipulate, and logic-check data within the system.
  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently input data from a variety of documents, including proposals, purchase orders, estimates, and other relevant paperwork, into the EPICOR ERP system.
  • Data Validation: Review and verify the accuracy of the entered information to ensure that all essential details are correctly captured in the system.
  • Document Management: Organize, categorize, and maintain both physical and electronic copies of the original documents for future reference and auditing purposes.
  • Communication: Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and other departments to gather any missing information and clarify discrepancies related to the entered data.
  • Deadline Adherence: Prioritize and manage a high volume of data entry tasks while adhering to tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular audits of entered data to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies promptly.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the order entry process, suggesting improvements that contribute to increased efficiency and accuracy.
  • ERP System Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the EPICOR ERP system's order entry module and related functionalities to ensure optimal use and proficiency.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive customer and business information with the utmost discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Reporting: Generate reports and provide insights related to order entry data accuracy, trends, and performance metrics as required by management.
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry and administrative roles, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly EPICOR, is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving processes and handle changing priorities with a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in business mathematics is fundamental for an ERP administrator to accurately interpret, input, manipulate, and logic-check data within the system (credit, debit, percentages, fractions, etc).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Reliable and responsible, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • The role may require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
