The Professional Services team serves a key role as the face of ibml to the customer, leading from the pre-sale engagement through go-live. You will play a key role on the project and will be part of a great team of industry professionals helping our customers successfully navigate the process of integrating world-class intelligent capture solutions into new or existing customer environments.

The Implementation Specialist provides leadership of project implementation and system application of document capture solutions to completion for ibml clients. This includes creating specifications, software installation, training, and support.

What You Get to Do

Work with clients to create and develop a Statement of Delivery for customer installations

Create, publish, and maintain an accurate project plan for each implementation site

Assist with pre-installation planning, scheduling, and training.

Conduct effective, thorough, and organized training for clients and third-party support personnel as requested.

Assist in the development and testing of new products and current product enhancements by
providing feedback to Product Engineering and Software development teams

Develop and maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all ibml hardware and software solutions. Build knowledge management of solutions and document outcomes.

Assist in the development and maintenance of accurate and complete hardware and software solutions. Provide innovative solutions to solve client business challenges.

Ensure proper management and control of all company assets (tools, documentation, software, and intellectual property, etc.)

Other duties and tasks assigned by Director of Professional Services

What's Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or 5 years of experience with delivery, integration, or solution support.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an end user, business systems or imaging equipment project management position.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to travel up to 50%. And you get to be home on weekends. You must be willing to travel within the Americas (North and South) and the Caribbean.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating system, and database products such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, DB2, Informix and Sybase as well as LAN technologies.

What's Helpful

  • Basic knowledge of programming languages
  • Any foreign language
  • Some knowledge of ibml Scanning platforms

You will be expected to run multiple projects concurrently, dealing with changing priorities, always with a focus on the success of our customers. You will communicate with people at all levels of our customers' organization. So, you must be as comfortable discussing the big picture with the CEO and technical components with the systems administrator as you are going over the minute details with the ibml support team. Your ability to work independently while traveling and in the office is critical. Equally important is being able to work as part of the team, ensuring the success of the group.

Ultimately, an outstanding candidate should demonstrate sound technical knowledge and curiosity as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
